After almost 23 years of operation in New Hope, the BCAF moved to its new location in Lambertville on September 8th, 2003.  It is currently one of the three largest training facilities in the United States and the largest privately owned facility on the east coast.

The Bucks County Academy of Fencing (no, we will not be changing the name) is located at 287 S. Main Street in Lambertville, NJ on Route 29.  If you're coming from New Hope, go over the bridge into Lambertville, turn RIGHT at the THIRD light & go 0.6 miles.  It's the long, stand alone building with the dome roof in the "Laceworks" complex. There is ample, FREE on-site parking in the lot at the North end of the complex & FREE curbside in front of the building.

There are 14 OLYMPIC size strips, plus a lounge area, changing room and an armory, plus there is 14 foot ceiling clearance throughout! There are plans to add 3 new rest rooms & 2 new changing rooms with showers.

Before we started:

And the demolition begins......

The first ceremonial cuts!

And the walls come tumbling down... (well almost)!

A BIG thank you to
Pat Maccia
(Matthew Maiorelli's grandfather) for all his wonderful help so far!

And now the second room...

There is no end to this Maestro's talents!

Still moving those walls...

Thanks so much to Bob Klein & Jerry Snead for helping to get all those wall partitions into the dumpster!

Getting there...

Some outside shots...

Sprucing up the new place...

Special thanks to Jeremy Schmid, Art & Dory Holbrow, Anthony Antonio, Juanita & Trevor Hummel, Sue & Chris Crook for their painting expertise!!

And while we are painting, painting, painting....
Maestro was drafting, drafting, drafting!

Loading up for ANOTHER landfill run...
