BCAF offers exceptional facilities for serious training, as well as a family friendly and community-oriented atmosphere for fencers of all ages, including a larger contingent of adult and “veteran” fencers than is typical for most clubs.

Our coaching staff is certified by the United States Fencing Coaches Association and BCAF is a recognized USFCA Guild Academy for its commitment to the educational quality and certification of its fencing coaches. We cater to a wide range of training levels from beginners and recreational fencers to national and international competitors.

With regard to our young fencers, we are committed to the philosophy that we must teach them much more than simply how to fence. We believe that the study and training of fencing provides an excellent environment for young people to learn discipline, responsibility, respect and the values of good preparation and attention to detail. We believe that respect and good sportsmanship are entirely compatible with the development of a champion fencer and we've proved it many times across three decades of experience.
